RIDI stands for continuity, partnership, quality, innovation, service and flexibility. This is precisely why RIDI has invested in its own electronic production facilities and is now able to assemble its own circuit boards.
MADE IN GERMANY
As RIDI now operates its own LED fitting lines, making it independent of any external supplier, it can now respond with the utmost flexibility and speed to the ever growing demands made on lighting technology and luminaire design by producing its own adapted LED modules. LEDs can be flexibly assembled and the individual modules soldered to create widely varying shapes, dimensions, luminous intensities and light colours. The surface and linear modules are adapted to the different luminaire types to achieve the absolute optimum illumination. Another quality benefit of our own in-house assembly facilities is that we can eliminate any ESD damage to the circuit board by taking the relevant precautions.
High aspirations
To ensure that we supply only the very best quality, at RIDI we impose the most stringent requirements on our own production and the materials we use. The high standard of quality we aspire to is achieved through continuous testing.
Mechanical strength and thermal resistance are tested by specially trained expert personnel in-house, and photometric properties are determined by spectroradiometers, Ulbricht spheres and photogoniometers. Compatibility with materials and substances which can influence LED quality is also analysed.
WARRANTY
Depending on the rated service life, RIDI offers a 5 or a 3-year warranty on LED modules, LED control gear and other LED components.
Because LED modules and R-TUBES are manufactured in-house at its Jungingen factory, RIDI is able to guarantee equivalent replacement deliveries for a period of 10 years.
